Nicola Orlando

I trained originally as a singer, so Teatro La Fenice and its history of burning down and rebuilding itself feels personal to me every time I film its facade. My other session heads out to the Lido, the barrier island where Venice keeps its beaches and much of its more recent architecture. I keep a fairly formal pace for the theatre session and a more relaxed one for the Lido, matching the mood of each place. I am glad to talk at length about either opera or the island's history.
