I trained as a musician before I started guiding, so Teatro Petruzzelli is the building I know best in Bari, including the story of its rebuilding after the 1991 fire that nearly finished it for good. On camera I hold on the restored facade and the foyer from outside, since the auditorium itself needs a ticket I cannot film past. At the cathedral I like pausing on the blind arcades of the Romanesque facade, a detail most visitors miss while looking up at the rose window instead.
