Nikos Antoniou

I trained as an archaeology guide inside the state museum system before moving to video sessions, so the Rotunda's long, strange history is something I can talk through without notes. On camera I explain how the same building served as a Roman mausoleum, then a Byzantine church, then an Ottoman mosque, and how each period left its own mark on the stonework. I also cover the nearby Arch of Galerius, built to mark a Roman victory in the early 4th century. I run a formal, well researched session and expect detailed questions, which I always enjoy answering properly.
