Nina Auer

I trained as a zoologist before I started guiding, so the Alpenzoo's Alpine species interest me as much as any monument in the old town. On camera I explain why the zoo sits at such an unusual altitude for Europe and what that means for the animals kept there. I also cross the river to the colourful houses of the old fishing quarter, a district most visitors walk straight past on their way somewhere else. I keep a steady pace and answer questions about the animals in real detail whenever they come up.
