Music is what got me into guiding, and Utrecht has more of it hidden in old buildings than most visitors realise, from a church full of mechanical instruments to a concert hall built inside a former market building. I like letting a sound play out fully on camera before I talk over it, since that is usually the whole point of the stop. I studied music history here and still play in a small ensemble on weekends. Sessions with me run a little slower than average, because I think some places need quiet more than commentary.
