I grew up a short walk from the Neckarwiese and have spent more summer evenings there than anywhere else in the city. On camera I like catching the meadow just as the light turns gold over the Old Bridge, when the whole scene looks almost staged. My second session follows the river itself, crossing between the old stone bridge and the newer one further downstream, and I always point out how differently each one was built. I keep my pace relaxed and let the river set the rhythm rather than rushing between stops.
