Oğuz Kaplan

I worked for years near Sirkeci Station, close enough that I know its history as the end point of the old Orient Express better than most. I trained as a guide to cover the station alongside Yeni Cami and the entrance to the Spice Bazaar just behind it, since the three sit within a few minutes of each other but rarely get covered together. On camera I like holding the frame on the station's platform for a moment before moving on, since it is easy to walk straight past without noticing what it once was.
