Oisín Farrell

I trained as a photographer specialising in architectural detail, so Dublin's Georgian doors around Fitzwilliam Square and the older streets of Smithfield are where my eye naturally goes. On camera I like resting on a single doorway or a stretch of cobblestone long enough for the detail to register before I explain its history. Five years of guiding on video has taught me to shoot at the right hour for the light rather than whenever is convenient. I always answer questions properly and send further reading afterwards.
