Ola Zielinska

I trained as a forester before I started guiding, so Lagiewniki Forest is where I feel most at home on camera, even though most people are surprised a forest this size sits inside a Polish city at all. I like showing how the trees give way suddenly to Ksiezy Mlyn's brick housing, since that contrast says a lot about how Lodz grew around its factories rather than a historic centre. I guide in Ukrainian as well as Polish and English, since many people who book me are recent arrivals wanting to understand the city they now live in.
