I hike Rigi's trails most weekends, so the cable car and cogwheel routes up what people here call the Queen of the Mountains feel completely familiar to me by now. On camera I explain why this particular mountain earned that nickname long before cable cars made it an easy day out. I point out the lake views that open up gradually as the train climbs higher.
