Paul Rehberg

I trained as an art historian and spent several years cataloguing paintings for the Kurpfälzisches Museum, so I know its courtyard and collection better than most residents ever will. On camera I hold on details in the stonework that visitors usually walk straight past, and explain what each one tells us about the family who built it. My second session climbs into Handschuhsheim's old vineyards, where a ruined monastery still stands above the vines, and I explain how wine and worship shared this hillside for centuries. I prefer a slow, close style of filming over covering too much ground quickly.
