I cross the Oberkasseler Brücke most days to reach the old town, so I usually start sessions in Oberkassel itself, a quieter residential district most visitors never see, before crossing into the busier Altstadt. I explain how the two sides of the river differ in character, calmer streets on one bank and packed brewhouses on the other. I take a shorter call as well for people who want a spoken plan for their visit rather than a full walk, since not everyone wants to commit to a longer session.
