I trained as a musician before I started guiding, so the Culture Zone, with the Silesian Museum, NOSPR's concert hall and Spodek all within a few minutes of each other, is where I feel most useful on camera. I explain why UNESCO named Katowice a City of Music and try to connect the buildings themselves to the coal mining past that funds so much of what stands there now. I keep a steady pace so you can actually take in each building rather than rushing between them. Video works well here since the architecture rewards a proper, unhurried look.
