Péter Balogh

I trained as a heritage guide and have spent most of my career inside Pécs's old town, especially around the cathedral and the mosque beside it. On camera I show the cathedral's four towers and explain how much of what stands today was rebuilt over eleventh century crypts, then move to the mosque-church nearby, the largest Ottoman building still standing in Hungary. On a third session I follow a stretch of the medieval city walls out to a surviving barbican tower. I keep a formal, detailed pace and welcome long strings of questions about any period covered.
