I worked at Leipzig Zoo for several years before I began guiding, mostly around the indoor rainforest hall, so I know the daily routines of a few animals better than most visitors ever get to see. My sessions move at an easy pace through the enclosures, and I focus more on the design of the habitats than on reciting facts about every species we pass. I keep things fairly brief, since the animals themselves usually hold attention better than a long introduction would. Video suits the rainforest hall especially well, since the camera can follow the canopy walkway in a way a written description never quite manages.
