I studied twentieth century history before guiding on camera at Memento Park, where statues removed from the city after 1989 now stand together in one field. I explain what each figure represented and why they were taken down rather than destroyed. On a second session I walk through Kerepesi Cemetery, describing the elaborate mausoleums built for the country's most prominent historical figures. I keep a formal, detailed pace on both sessions and welcome long questions about either period.
