I studied archaeology and the St George Rotunda is still the site I most enjoy explaining, since a fourth-century Roman building survives almost intact in a courtyard behind the modern government buildings that grew up around it. On camera I circle the small rotunda slowly, pointing out how much of the original brickwork remains visible. I keep a warm, conversational pace and enjoy questions about how a Roman building ended up tucked behind a presidential office. Video works well for a small, dense site like this, since the camera can hold close on details a quick glance would miss.
