I have guided around the old hospital quarter and the ramparts for over a decade, and both still feel underrated compared with the busier squares nearer the centre. My sessions cover Memling's paintings from outside the old hospital building and the windmills that still stand along the city's earthworks. I keep things practical and explain plainly rather than dressing the history up. I am happy to slow down or speed up depending on what you want to see, and I always leave proper time for questions.
