I trained as a museum guide after finishing an art history degree in Izmir, and I split most of my sessions between the Archaeology Museum and the Ethnography Museum a short walk apart. I like slowing down on a single case rather than rushing through a full hall, because a viewer on a call can actually read the label details I point the camera at. My favourite object changes depending on the season, but I always come back to the Ottoman-era costumes upstairs in the ethnography building. I try to connect one object to something still visible in the city outside.
