I split my time between showing Cours Julien after dark, where the murals change every season and the bars each have their own crowd, and L'Estaque in the morning, the fishing village that pulled in Cézanne and the early Cubists. On camera I like comparing what is actually there with what got painted or painted over, since that comparison usually explains more than a straight description would. I have guided in Marseille for over a decade and speak French, English and Arabic. I answer questions as they come rather than saving them for the end.
