I have driven the road from Brașov to Bran more times than I can count, and I still slow down at the curve before Râșnov because the fortress looks best from there. I trained as a mountain rescuer and worked for the Salvamont team for nine years before I started guiding full time. My castles day covers Bran, which is famous for Dracula and has almost nothing to do with him, the peasant fortress at Râșnov and Peleș in Sinaia, which I think is the most beautiful of the three. I speak German and some Hungarian because Transylvania has always been a mix, and I explain that history without choosing sides.
