My family have traded on Cambridge Market Square for three generations, so I probably know that square better than any college I never attended. On camera I like walking the stalls early, before the tourist stands are even open, so you see the flower sellers and fruit traders setting up rather than a finished display. I grew up hearing which pitches were considered the best and why, and I still pass that on to anyone who asks. My sessions run a little differently every morning because the market itself never quite looks the same twice, whatever the season.
