I studied the history behind the Dracula legend and Bran Castle is still the building I most enjoy separating fact from fiction about, since the hilltop fortress has only a loose historical connection to Vlad the Impaler despite its popular reputation. On camera I show the castle from the approach road and courtyard, describing the rooms I cannot bring the camera inside during opening hours. I keep a warm, storytelling pace and welcome questions comparing the real history with the legend. Video suits a hilltop castle well, since the camera can capture the whole silhouette in a way a single visit on foot rarely allows time for.
