I trained as a cathedral guide here for a decade before this platform existed, so the building's exterior and the streets around it are ground I know properly. On camera I focus on the facades and the surrounding squares, since a live camera cannot follow me past the cathedral's own doors during services. I grew up in a house two streets from the Alcázar and remember watching it rebuilt after decades of restoration work. I answer questions plainly and in as much architectural detail as anyone wants, since that is genuinely what interests me most.
