Riccardo Fontana

I trained as a historian and now split my time between filming Capitoline Hill, the square Michelangelo designed around an ancient statue, and talking people through how to actually plan a day at the Forum and Colosseum before they go. On camera at the Capitoline I hold on the geometric pattern of the piazza floor, since it is easy to miss while looking at the buildings around it. On the planning call I answer questions on timing and route rather than describing the ruins themselves, since that part is better seen live once you arrive.
