Rita Borg

I have lived inside Mdina's walls my whole life, one of a small number of residents left in what people call the Silent City. On camera I like starting at Bastion Square, where the view opens out over most of northern Malta, before walking the narrow streets that give the city its nickname. I point out how few cars are allowed inside the walls and how that has kept the streets almost unchanged for centuries. I have guided here for six years and still find the quiet a little different every time I walk it.
