I run most mornings along the river, so the walk from Triana to the old gold tower is one I could do with my eyes closed, which helps a great deal when I am also holding a phone steady. I like the calm of that stretch before the day heats up, and I try to pass that same pace on to a call. On Sundays I switch to the Alameda instead, when the market stalls are just opening and the square still feels like a neighbourhood rather than a route. I keep my commentary light and let people simply watch for a while.
