I have a small chocolate habit that started with a school trip to the old chocolate makers near Santa Maria del Mar, so I still stop at the same corner to explain the trade's history there. On camera I stay outside, describing how cocoa arrived through the port centuries ago. On Carrer Montcada I move slowly between the medieval merchant palaces, pointing out courtyards that survive behind fairly plain street doors. I keep both sessions focused on trade and money rather than only architecture.
