I have worked behind a bar on Rua do Prior for most of my adult life, so I know exactly which corner of the old town gets loud first and which stays quiet until later. On camera I walk the street as it fills up, pointing out which bars have been there for decades and which changed hands last year. When I take a call instead, I skip the walk and just answer questions directly, since sometimes people want a straight read on where to go rather than a tour of the whole street. Four years of guiding has taught me most questions come down to timing.
