Sébastien Bertrand

Versailles sits a short train ride outside the city, and I have spent years explaining the palace to people who will never manage to see every room in a single visit. I trained in French history before guiding, which is where my interest in the site's court politics comes from. On camera I keep to specific rooms and facades rather than trying to summarise the whole palace at once. French and English both work for my calls. I answer detailed questions about the monarchy's daily life there, since that is usually what people actually want to know.
