Serena Caputo

I studied archaeology and spent two seasons on a dig near Lecce before I started guiding, so the layers under this city are what I keep coming back to on camera. I like showing the castle's courtyard and explaining how a Norman fort ended up wrapped inside a much larger fortress a few centuries later, since the join between the two is still visible if you know where to look. I try to keep my sessions unhurried, since Lecce rewards a slower pace better than a rushed circuit of the obvious spots. I have guided here for six years now.
