Simona Dobre

I grew up near the old city walls, and the Weavers' Bastion is still the stretch I most enjoy showing, since each surviving bastion was once defended by a different craft guild working alongside the Saxon town council. On camera I follow the wall from one bastion to the next, pointing out how the stonework changes between building phases. I keep a warm, conversational pace and enjoy questions about how guild life worked here centuries ago. Video works well for old fortifications, since the camera can trace a long stretch of wall in a single steady shot rather than jumping between photographs.
