Sofia Ribeiro

I studied art history in Guimarães and the Ducal Palace is still where I feel most at home on camera. I keep the phone steady in the courtyard so you can see the chimneys and the arcades properly, rather than sweeping past them. People forget this city calls itself the birthplace of the nation, and I try to show why that claim still matters here rather than just stating it. I move between the palace and the castle slowly, since the walk between them is short but the shift in mood is not. I answer questions about the period as they come, in as much detail as anyone wants.
