Food is what got me into guiding, specifically the markets rather than restaurants, since a market tells you more about a city's daily life than any menu does. On camera I hold close on a stall long enough for the produce or the goods to actually register, then move on without lingering too long. I grew up near one of the markets I now guide and still shop there myself most weeks. I keep my sessions practical, focused on what is actually there rather than a wish list of things I would like to show you.
