Tuna Aydemir

I grew up in Ayvansaray, right against the old city walls where they meet the Golden Horn, and I trained as a guide mainly to explain a stretch of wall that most visitors never see up close. On camera I like walking along the water first, so viewers understand how the walls once met the sea before the shoreline changed. I try to keep my explanations simple, since most people booking this session have never heard of Ayvansaray before finding it. I always point out which sections have been restored and which are still original stone.
