Valentina Rinaldi

I studied art history with a focus on the palazzi lining the Grand Canal, so I spend most of my filming time on the water's edge rather than inside any one building. My other session covers Ca' d'Oro, one of the canal's most delicate Gothic facades, where I explain how its lacework stonework was originally covered in gold leaf. I keep a steady, informative pace and like naming the families who built each palazzo rather than describing them only by style. I welcome detailed questions about Venetian Gothic architecture.
