I studied history, so Santa Croce's tombs are where I spend most of my time, filming inside the church where the light through its stained glass usually does more work than I need to. I explain who is actually buried there and why the church became the resting place for so many significant Florentines. I keep my voice low inside, the way I would if I were actually standing there quietly. My sessions move slowly between tombs rather than covering the whole church at speed.
