I have hiked the hills and canyons around Skopje since I was a child, so the landscape just outside the city is what I know best. On camera I follow the walls of a canyon a short drive from the centre, pointing out a cave entrance visible from the path without needing to go inside it. My other session climbs the mountain that rises directly above the city, finishing at a terrace beneath a large illuminated cross with the whole city spread out below. I keep both sessions steady, since the paths can be uneven, and I answer questions about the landscape in real geographic detail.
