I was a sommelier for fifteen years, in Biarritz first and then in two restaurants in Bordeaux, before I decided I preferred standing in vineyards to standing between tables. I have guided wine trips since 2016. My aim is simple: that you leave able to read a Bordeaux label, understand why a Pauillac tastes different from a Pomerol, and choose a bottle at home without guessing. I work with châteaux I know personally, large and small, and I avoid the ones that treat visitors as a queue. I prefer precise questions to general enthusiasm, and I will answer them properly. I speak French, English and Spanish. I spit, and I will show you how to do it without embarrassment. My sessions now run live on video from Bordeaux: I carry the phone, you watch from wherever you are and ask anything.
