Vito Greco

I grew up two streets from Piazza Sant'Oronzo and used to cut through the amphitheatre pit on my way to school before it was properly excavated. Now I show it on camera from street level, where you can look straight down into a Roman arena that sat hidden under the city for centuries. I keep my sessions loose rather than scripted, since Lecce in the evening changes by the hour, and I would rather react to what is actually happening than read from notes. I studied history and worked as a museum attendant before I started guiding on video.
