About Vreni

I studied history with a focus on the Swiss Guards before I started guiding, so the rock relief carved into a cliff face here has stayed close to my work for years. On camera I explain the story behind the monument, carved to commemorate soldiers killed defending a palace in France in 1792. I point out the details in the stone that most visitors walk straight past without noticing. I keep my pace slow and reflective for this one and welcome detailed historical questions.
