I have lived in Žaliakalnis my whole life, on the hill the funicular has climbed since before my grandparents were born, and I still time my calls so the light hits the old town below just right. On camera I ride the funicular itself so you can feel how steep the hill really is. In the milk bar call I sit at the same counter I have eaten at since I was a boy and explain how these canteens survived from the interwar years through the Soviet period into today. I keep the milk bar session short and conversational rather than trying to cover the whole menu.
