I worked for over a decade cataloguing pieces inside the old armoury before I ever thought about guiding on camera. On camera I explain how a collection of roughly thirty-two thousand weapons ended up preserved in one building rather than scattered or melted down like most others across Europe. I studied metalwork restoration formally, so technical questions about the pieces rarely surprise me. I keep my sessions fairly formal and detailed, since most guests booking this one already have a specific interest in arms and armour.
