I trained as an engineer before I started guiding, so Centennial Hall's concrete dome interests me as a structure as much as a historic building. On camera I like explaining the specific techniques that made the dome possible at a scale nobody had built before. In the evening call I try to time things so you see the fountain shift from quiet to its full light and water display. I keep both sessions fairly technical, though I always try to explain things in plain terms rather than jargon.
