I have lived near Schönbrunn my whole life, so I know the gardens' seasonal rhythm better than most guides who only visit occasionally. On camera I stay along the garden paths toward the Gloriette, explaining the sightline the Habsburgs deliberately built into the whole layout. I keep the pace unhurried, since the gardens reward a slow walk rather than a rushed pass toward the palace facade. I take questions throughout on the wider grounds, since I know paths well beyond the ones a single session covers.
