Highlights

  • Medieval cellars, now evening bars
  • The same spaces, a different use by night
  • Locals replacing the daytime crowd
  • The old town's after-dark atmosphere
  • History repurposed for a modern evening

About this tour

This session covers Brno's cellar bars after dark, several of them in the same spaces the daytime labyrinth tours pass through. You see one of the converted cellars in use for the evening, then the street above once the crowd shifts from visitors to locals. It is a look at the old town's nightlife rather than its history.

I start in the cellar and come back up to street level for the second stop, describing the change in atmosphere as it happens. Questions come throughout, and I am happy to point the camera wherever the evening feels most alive. A short note on which bars tend to be busiest follows by message afterwards.

This suits anyone who wants to see Brno's evening side rather than only its museums and squares. It also suits viewers curious how a historic space finds a modern use after dark.

Itinerary

  1. Welcome and sound check 5 min

The guide joins the video call, checks the picture and sound with you, and gives you a quick sense of Brno before heading out.

  2. A converted cellar bar 21 min

The camera takes in one of the old cellars now run as a bar, and I explain how several of these spaces switched use once the labyrinth tours ended for the day.

  3. The street above after dark 21 min

We come back up to the street for the second stop, and I describe how the old town's evening crowd differs from its daytime one.

  4. Your questions 9 min

Time to ask anything about Brno: prices, safety, food, or whatever you are curious about.

  5. A short list to keep 4 min

Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Guláš s knedlíky (goulash with bread dumplings) and Staré Brno (Old Brno), worth a slower look.

Good to know

  • A stable wifi or mobile connection makes the picture smoother than a shaky one.
  • Any phone, tablet or laptop with a camera works. You watch, the guide does the walking.
  • Times are shown in Prague time, so check the time where you are before you book.
  • The session is not recorded, and recording it yourself is not allowed. Feel free to take your own notes.
  • Ask questions any time, out loud or in the chat. The guide will pause to answer.
  • Sessions run in small groups, up to 8 people, so there is room for everyone to ask something.

How reviews work

Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
