About this tour
This session shows a Göreme evening from a rooftop cafe and the street below. You see the valley and its fairy chimneys as the light fades from a high vantage point, then the town's main street lit up once evening properly sets in. The session is timed around the change in light rather than a fixed clock.
I open with a sound check on the rooftop, then we move toward the street while you ask questions about the evening pace. I try to time the rooftop stop for the last visible light on the chimneys. Afterwards I send a short note on the timing for future sessions.
This suits anyone who wants a calmer, evening view of Cappadocia after a day of sightseeing. It also suits a traveller deciding when to fit a quieter session into a busier itinerary.

The camera settles on a rooftop looking out over the valley as the light fades. I point out the fairy chimneys still visible against the darkening sky.

You see the small town's main street lit up as evening sets in. I explain how the town's pace changes once the day's balloon flights are long over.
