About this tour
This session is a food walk from the Liberties to Smithfield, two of Dublin's older working districts. The camera moves from a farmhouse cheese stall to a Meath Street bakery, then into a Liberties distillery and finally a Smithfield pub. Each stop follows a dish or a drink specific to this side of the city.
After a sound check, the walk runs the four stops in the order they are found on the ground, with questions taken as each new food or drink comes up. A written list of the shops, the bakery and the pub goes out once the call ends.
This suits anyone planning to eat and drink through this part of Dublin and wanting a shortlist first. It also suits anyone who already knows the area and wants to see it explained stall by stall.
Included
- Live video session with a local guide

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
