The Palmengarten through the seasons
Highlights
- A garden explained through the calendar year
- Seasonal planting, explained firsthand
- A quiet corner most visitors miss
- A gardener's own knowledge, shared on camera
- The best months for colour, named plainly
About this tour
This session focuses on how the Palmengarten changes through the year, from seasonal planting beds to a quieter corner most visitors overlook. You see the garden's current state explained in the context of what comes before and after it in the calendar. It stays within one section of the garden.
We move slowly between the two stops, and I explain the seasonal changes as we go, drawing on what I saw when I worked here as a gardener. Questions about specific plants or the best time to visit come naturally. A short seasonal note follows by message.
It suits anyone planning a return visit at a different time of year, or simply curious about a garden's yearly rhythm. It also works well as a shorter add-on to the main greenhouse session.
Included

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
