Bostanlı's waterfront park by bike path
Highlights
- Bostanlı's waterfront cycling path
- A quieter shore across the bay
- Families and cyclists at evening
- A skyline view from Karşıyaka's side
- Izmir's other waterfront rhythm
About this tour
This session follows the cycling path through Bostanlı's waterfront park on the Karşıyaka side of the bay, timed for the evening crowd it draws. You see families and cyclists using the same stretch of path day after day, and a bend where the bay opens toward the city skyline. Nilüfer explains why this side of the water has its own rhythm separate from the busier Kordon opposite it.
The call opens with a sound check at the park entrance, then follows the path toward the viewpoint as the light changes. Nilüfer answers questions about the park's daily use and sends a short note afterwards comparing it with the Kordon across the bay.
This suits anyone who wants the quieter side of Izmir's waterfront rather than its busiest promenade. It also pairs well with the ferry crossing session for a full sense of both shores.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
